Benjamin Sheff, MFT-LP
I believe relationships shape our sense of self, influencing the way we experience and relate to the world around us. As a therapist, I help clients look inward to see themselves and their relationships through a lens of compassion and acceptance. Motivated by curiosity and kindness, I strive to create a collaborative environment for adults, adolescents, and couples to achieve lasting change.
In every session I bring genuine warmth, humor, and connection. Drawing from several therapeutic models, I provide individual care tailored to support your unique challenges. I’m eager to help clarify your goals, deepen your connection with yourself, and find greater access to your inherent capacity for healing.
I earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Iona University. My approach integrates humanistic and experiential therapies, and I specialize in supporting clients through issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity and gender exploration, and relationship challenges.
